For Organisations working with 0 to 5 Year Olds - Dance Designed with Development in Mind

TRS Tots is Dance Designed with Development in Mind. Our lessons are not only for enjoyment, but the TRS Tots teachers are also trained to make sure that child development is central to what they do. They use the EYFS and can support organisations with their reports if requested.

For 0 – 5 year olds and their care givers, we can adapt most of our normal dance lessons to suit this age group. Why not try one of these favourites or ask us for a list of dance styles to choose from.

Boogie with Baby – Movement, massage, sensory play and bonding for parent and child. Approximate age groups are 0 – 6 months, 6 – 12 months and 12 – 18 months.

Adult and Child – Dance together with your child, classes include creativity, props and dance steps. Approximate age groups are 12 – 18 months, 18 months – 2 years and from 2 years there are various options.

Ballet – A fun introduction to ballet, classes include creativity, props and ballet steps. From 2 1/2 years.

Ball Skills – Dance with balls as the prop! Not, just the usual, we have everything from snow balls to beach balls. From 2 1/2 years.

Creative Dance – A fun way to explore how the body moves, experiment with props and learn new things. From 3 years.

Educating Dance – Our cross-curricular classes that use your theme and the EYFS curriculum are also available for Nursery and Reception.

Prop Dance – All about how props can support development, a colourful and exciting session including props of all types.

As well as our past experience and high standard of training (degree or equivalent as minimum), we are always keeping up to date and looking forward.

The TRS Teachers regularly take part in Continued Professional Development (CPD) and all have a current DBS checks and relevant insurance. We are GDPR compliant and have extensive and well written policy and procedure documents to work alongside those at the organisations we visit.
