We can help schools extend their dance provision, get their least active pupils moving, enhance curricular learning, meet PE requirements and much more.
Educating Dance (our programme of cross-curricular dance) and Mindful Moving (a well being project to support pupils) are both available exclusively at The Right Step.
From Nursery to Year 11, all of our lessons are tailored to the group and, because we are a team of teachers, we can help with a huge range of things. We are inclusive in our approach and are happy to talk to you about the various needs your pupils may have.

Our specially trained Educating Dance Teachers design a workshop or group of lessons using your theme and the Curriculum or EYFS. All lessons provide opportunity for creativity and performance. We can work with a different year group each term or be available occasionally. Here are a few ideas…
Cross-curricular Dance:Â Mighty Metals, Sound, Extended Sentences, Egypt
Historical or International Dance Styles:Â Aboriginal Dance, Tudor Dance with Medieval Castles, Dance of Our School (dance styles inspired by pupil’s cultures)

From an hour long workshop to a big project, the TRS Teachers are available to tailor their lessons to your event.

The TRS Teachers regularly take part in Continued Professional Development (CPD) and all have a current DBS checks and relevant insurance. We are GDPR compliant and have extensive and well written policy and procedure documents to work alongside those at the organisations we visit.
